Bill was a member of the St. Catreherine of Sienna Queensmen and played solo baritone.

He also marched in the New York Skyliners and Long Island Sunrisers.

He is a past member of the National and All-American Judges Association and has arranged and instructed numerous corps though the years.

Bill authored "Buglerama - Six Compositions for Bugle Choir", 1976.
