Kenton began his drum corps career in 1961 marching with the Fairfield PAL.  He then played with the St. Raphael's organization from 62-68. Kenton later played with the NY Skyliners through 75. Kenton was the 1970 All American National Individual Champion on soprano bugle.

He instructed many Connecticut corps during the 70's including the Golden Buccaneers, Milford Shoreliners ( World Open Champions 77, Northeast Circuit champs 77), Bengel Lancers (Northeast Circuit Champs 1979), Emerald Buccaneers, Centurions.....

Kenton was a member of the Metro Judges Assoc. and brass caption chair for the Northeast circuit.

Currently Kenton is the Founder, President and CEO of Computer Consulting Associates International, Inc. (CCAii) and the founder of DiversityBusiness.com. CCAii, of Southport, Connecticut, is one of the nation's leading multicultural Information Technology consulting firms. DiversityBusiness.com, CCAii's flagship product, is the nation's largest and most comprehensive online resource center for small businesses and large procurement organizations.

Coming from a long family line of small business entrepreneurs, Mr. Clarke started CCAii in 1980. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a one-man operation to one of New England's largest IT consulting firms. CCAii has provided services for top client companies, including Pepsi-Cola, Kraft Foods, Pitney Bowes, Bristol-Myers, MBNA, Turner Broadcasting, SBC, IBM, United Technologies Corporation and General Electric.

Mr. Clarke's accomplishments have been recognized by numerous local and national awards, including the 2001 Regional Minority Small Business Person of the Year Award from the US Small Business Administration, the 2000 Ernst & Young's Southwestern Connecticut Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the 1998 Connecticut's "Small Business Person of the Year" Award from the SBA.

With Mr. Clarke at its helm, the US Small Business Administration also honored CCAii with its Nation's Top Diversity Owned Business Award in 2001, for the development of DiversityBusiness.com and its commitment to business development for Diversity business owners.

Considered one of America's authorities on diversity business issues, Mr. Clarke is frequently quoted in local and national publications on diversity business development and technology issues, including Fortune and Black Enterprise magazine. He has also appeared as an industry spokesperson on PBS, CNBC, CBS News Radio and Yahoo! Finance Vision.

An active supporter of the United Fund (formerly the United Negro College Fund), Mr. Clarke has established his own scholarship program which provides full two-year scholarships for students at Norwalk Community Technical College.

Mr. Clarke serves on the boards of a number of local and national organizations, including the Governor's Council on Economic Competitiveness and Technology, where he and other top leaders in business, government, labor and academia advise the Governor of Connecticut on a variety of issues, with the overall goal to drive innovation, productivity and job growth in the state. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of New Haven, and the Advisory Board of the Graduate School of Management of Sacred Heart University.

Mr. Clarke received his Associate's Degree in Computer Science from the Norwalk Community Technical College and his Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management from the University of New Haven in Connecticut, and has completed Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Executive Management Program.
